New Developments for Asian Brands
With this new version, TEXA is striving to provide even greater coverage for vehicles manufactured in Asian countries.
Not satisfied with excellence in its coverage of European brands alone, TEXA now offers superb coverage for Asian brands too.
Mechanics can therefore use their TEXA diagnostic tool on all makes of vehicle without having to purchase any additional equipment, and always enjoy the user friendliness for which IDC4 software is rightly famous.
NB The latest developments for Asian vehicles are not supported by older generation diagnostic tools like Navigator Mobile, Navigator Wireless, Navigator Classic, Tribox with A-Dia module or Axone 3 with A-Dia module.
TGS3 Function
TGS3 (Texa Global Scan 3) is an innovative function that Texa has introduced in IDC4 Car 50. TGS3 automatically scans all diagnosable electronic control units on a vehicle in a matter of seconds. Compared to thee previous version, the justly well respected TGS2, further improvements have been made, among which, in particular, the scanning speed, increased up to 30 times.
Thanks to its amazing ability to recognise different ECUs and automatically diagnose them, TGS3 can display results as soon as the scan ends. TGS3 identifies not only the control units on board a vehicle, but even the exact variants for that particular model, and flags up any errors that have been detected.

To give a practical example of the scan speed achieved by the new TGS3 function, it can successfully scan all 33 ECUs on a Ford Focus 1.6i Petrol in just 30 seconds – an amazing one ECU in less than one second!!
A soon as the results of the scan become available, you can select any control unit from the list to run an autodiagnostic test on it.
Windows 8 support
Starting from this version, IDC4 software can be installed under the new 64 bit Windows 8 operating system to guarantee maximum flexibility even with the latest PC’s.
