Eclipse are pleased to announce that V46 Car is available for internet update for Light, Plus and Pocket. This new version of Car software includes improvements to a large range of vehicle applications and systems.
In addition to these application updates there are also some new features in V46 which should simplify the use of the software.
Automatic firmware update
From V46 the firmware for all interfaces will automatically be updated when required.
Removal of ‘settings menu’ password
The password has been removed so 1236 will no longer be required – hooray!
Engine code search
A new engine code search is available to simplify vehicle selection by entering the specific engine code.
Removal of ‘Resetters’ button
This button as been removed as these functions are now covered under the shortcut menu.
Twinprobe oscilloscope support
V46 now has the software to support the new Twinprobe oscilloscope and signal generator.
Faster internet downloads
A new process has been implemented to reduce the time taken to download the software updates.
